About

I thought about writing myself a bio in some weird third-person speak, but being a writer is already about having multiple voices in your head without throwing a dissociative disorder into the mix.

So, about me:

I’m a British author who loves writing character-driven stories, so you’ll find my books in multiple genres. I write lesbian romance, crime, and thrillers as C.K. Martin and urban fantasy as Cas Martin, to cater to different audiences.

I believe that realistic, diverse and engaging characters shouldn’t come at the expense of great plots – readers deserve to have both. If you enjoy my characters in one genre, then you’ll find similar heroines in the others if you feel like branching out.

When I’m not writing, I can usually be found with my nose in a book (or pressed against the Kindle screen). My third biggest passion in life is travel, so although I say I’m based in England, for much of the year you won’t find me there. Instead I’ll be hanging out with my wife in some amazing city or, more likely, at the beach.

If that sounds interesting to you, then head over to my amazon page to try a free sample (who doesn’t like free?) of any of my books:

C.K. Martin’s Amazon Page

Cas Martin’s Amazon Page

You’ll find detectives, vampires, gangsters and runaways, all looking for their happy ending.

I have nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award. Your site is quite wonderful and very informative. I hope you accept. There is a logo you can put on your blog if you like and suggestion to post a post about it if you want. This isn’t associated with any organisation that I know just something bloggers are doing to recognize blogs they like. Please let me know and I can get everything over to you 🙂
